When was the last time you made a paper snowflake?

Remember folding a white piece of paper and cutting out chunks to make a snowflake? I haven’t wasted fifteen thousand trees just trying to make one still-uneven snowflake confused Mother Nature with my excellent craft skills since grammar school, but there’s a fantastic reason to do it now.

This Wednesday, RVRR will make snowflakes for the students and faculty of Sandy Hook Elementary.

From the Newtown Patch: Snowflakes for Sandy Hook

Please help the students of Sandy Hook have a winter wonderland at their new school. Get creative!! No two snowflakes are alike. Make and send snowflakes to:

Connecticut PTSA

60 Connolly Parkway

Building 12, Suite 103

Hamden, CT 06514

The snowflakes are due to the PTSA by January 12, 2013. It’s small gesture of love for strangers that will go a long way. Get cutting!
